Meet Angee
Angee was born and raised in Southern Ontario on a small rural farm where her connection to animals began at an very young age. Human friends were outnumbered by four-legged creatures in Angee’s life, which has enhanced her ability to connect and communicate in alternative ways. Angee has dedicated her life to helping others heal through intimate animal connections. Sky River Meadows and the Sky River Herd is the decades long journey of research, and creation for Angee. Breeding and training this herd since 2011, she now partners with 6 generations of trained therapy support goats. Angee likes to say the herd is in the “family business”.
In 2013, Pell earned her B.A.(Hons) Child and Family Studies from Nipissing University at the Muskoka Campus before beginning her journey into the FEEL Approach. Pell earned her FEEL Certification in 2018, and completed the Advanced FEEL Certification in 2019. There are now over 300 FEEL grads worldwide, located across Canada, USA, Sweden and South Africa. Although FEEL work is traditionally done with horses, Angee has trained her goats to do the same work. For Angee this transition has certain advantages as she can take her goats into places that a horse can’t easily access. With the herd, Angee can bring the FEEL work to retirement homes, schools, homes and other private establishments.
Meet Daniel & Wylder
Sky River Meadows would not be what it is today without the assistance and full support of Angee’s family, helping her to chase a dream. We are proud to be a 3 Generation Farm!
Daniel works full time as our Barn Manager, and is primarily responsible for all of the daily feeds & needs of the herd. Wylder, at the tender age of 5, assists in the daily chores and he truly loves our flock of chickens! Our family works together every single day to bring you the quality experiences that our local community has come to love.
