Argus is a beloved member of our goat herd. He is easy to spot as he is one of the largest goats in the group, being 25% alpine goat. Argus is the grandson of Dixie, who was Angee's first goat, making him very special to her. Argus has a charming personality and is very popular with the female visitors to our farm, who adore his sweet, toothy smile. Being the eldest of our 22 wethers, Argus is looked up to as a leader by the rest of the herd. He is starting to show signs of aging and struggles to maintain his weight, but he remains happy as long as he has plenty of hay to eat. Argus can also use his size advantageously, which means he doesn't miss out on much. He loves to join in on our GOAT walks, where his height advantage comes in handy as he can reach tasty browse his herd mates can’t.
